From June 25 to July 5, 2011, thirty freshmen of School of Life Sciences attend a practical teaching in the field of biology at the beautiful Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). The students visited tropical botanical garden and attended a few lectures of environmental education, climatic evolution and biological research, besides investigating Parashorea wangtianshoa tropical rain forest in the county of Mengla, Yunnan Province.
