Dr. Yu has been engaged in the basic and clinical scientific research of gastrointestinal motility disorders, digestive psychosomatic diseases, and pancreatic cancer for a long time, with a particular focus on the integrated treatment of gastrointestinal diseases using Chinese and Western medicine.

Academic Achievements and Impact
Dr. Yu has dedicated over 20 years to teaching and scientific research in gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy, mentoring over 40 Ph.D. and master’s students. He has received the second prize of the Anhui Medical Science and Technology Award.
He has published over 130 research papers as the first or corresponding author in renowned international and domestic journals, including *Biomaterials*, *ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces*, *Biomaterials Science*, *Theranostics*, *Oncology Letters*, *Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science*, *Chinese Journal of Digestive Diseases*, *Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine*, and *Shizhen Traditional Chinese Medicine and Materia Medica*. Over 20 of these papers are indexed by SCI. He has also authored three monographs and contributed to four others.
