Academic Achievements and Impact
Research focuses on the chemotherapy resistance mechanisms of upper gastrointestinal tumors and the screening and pathogenesis of precancerous lesions and early cancers in the digestive tract. Leader of the Anhui Province 115 Innovation Team for early diagnosis and pathogenesis research of gastric cancer. Served as deputy leader of a national multicenter project (105 hospitals) for gastric cancer screening in China. Research findings have contributed to the consensus on early cancer screening in China and have been published in Gut. Has received four Science and Technology Progress Awards from Shanghai and Anhui Provinces. Supervised over 20 graduate students. Published numerous papers in SCI journals such as PNAS, Cancer Letters, EMBO J, and Gut.
