LI Juan

Born in May 1966, MD, PhD supervisor, Chief Physician, Deputy Director of the Anesthesiology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She is an Executive Committee Member of the Anesthesiology Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Deputy Chair of the Thoracic Division of the Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Standing Committee Member of the Anesthesia Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Education Association, and the Anesthesia and Brain Function Branch of the Chinese Neuroscience Society. She serves on the editorial boards of the Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and the Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology. In 2019, she was awarded the title of Seventh Provincial Academic and Technical Leader and received one Second Prize and five Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress in Anhui Province. As a clinician, she has consistently focused on integrating clinical practice with basic research, publishing over 100 papers, including 40 SCI papers, with major findings published in journals such as Nature Neuroscience and Neuropeptides.

Academic Achievements and Impact

With over 30 years in clinical anesthesia, Dr. Li has consistently integrated clinical and basic research, supervising 8 PhD and 15 Master's students. She has received one Second Prize and five Third Prizes for Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress.

 

In the past five years, she has published over 14 papers as a corresponding author in journals like Nature Neuroscience.
