
Ph.D. Supervisor, Chief Physician/Professor, recognized as a Health Guardian in 2020 (2nd Health China), and a leading academic and technical figure in Anhui Province. Member of the International Liver Cancer Association and International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association. He serves on several national committees, including the National Health Commission’s Oncology Committee for Capacity Building and Continuing Education, the Accelerated Recovery Surgery Expert Committee of the Hepatobiliary Group, and more. He is also an editor for several medical journals such as the Chinese Journal of Surgery and the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery.

Academic Achievements and Impact
1. Pioneered the focus on microvascular invasion in liver cancer in China, proposing new strategies for preventing postoperative recurrence and metastasis. Contributed to the formulation of national guidelines for primary liver cancer treatment.
2. Collaborated with Academician Dong Jiahong on precise liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma, proposing key techniques in 2014 and contributing to the development of 3D visualization guidelines.
3. Initiated accelerated recovery protocols in liver surgery, establishing the first painless and ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) wards in China, with over 200 hospitals adopting these practices. Authored the Chinese Expert Consensus on Enhanced Recovery After Hepatectomy.
