Awards include Distinguished Professor of Leading Talents in Anhui Province, the first ' Young Jianghuai Famous Doctor ' in Anhui Province'First Prize in the Ophthalmic Surgery Video Competition by the Anhui Medical Association Ophthalmology Branch, Reserve Leader in Discipline, Young Technical Backbone, Model Worker, First Prize in Young Talent, Outstanding PhD, and Excellent Subspecialty Director.

Academic Achievements and Impact

 

Dr. Dong has been dedicated to teaching and research in ophthalmology for over 20 years, supervising more than 30 doctoral and master’s students. He received the third prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award. Ranked in the top 2.9% for retinal detachment on Expertscape.

 

Published over 20 papers in SCI journals such as the American Journal of Pathology, Current Eye Research, Ophthalmic Research, and IJO.
