Academic Achievements and Impact

Dr. Qian has been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment of tumors for over 30 years, possessing a solid theoretical foundation and extensive experience in the radiotherapy and combined radiochemotherapy of various digestive system tumors, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, lung cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, and brain tumors. During this period, she has supervised over 50 master's students and 3 doctoral students. To date, she has published over 70 professional papers (as the first author and corresponding author) in domestic and international journals, and has co-authored several books. Notably, she was the deputy chief editor of the second edition of New Radiotherapy (Fudan University Press, February 2010) and one of the chief editors of 100 Questions about Tumor Radiotherapy (University of Science and Technology of China Press, 2010).

Dr. Qian has led numerous scientific research projects, including key projects of Anhui Province, the Anhui Natural Science Foundation, and key medical research projects of the Anhui Health Department. She has received the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award and the Medical Contribution Award of the People's Liberation Army of China. She completed a sub-project of the National 863 Program, Clinical Application and Verification of Conformal and Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy Plans for Solid Tumors (863-306ZD13-03-2, 2000-2003), focusing on dosimetric studies and efficacy observations of conformal radiotherapy for rectal cancer. Her research outcomes have been included in the first training course textbook on intensity-modulated radiotherapy in China and the third edition of Tumor Radiotherapy (Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Press, 2004). Among her achievements, the project Clinical and Experimental Research on PET-CT in the Diagnosis and Precise Radiotherapy Targeting of Brain Gliomas won the third prize of the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award, with Dr. Qian as the first author.
