Academic Achievements and Impact
Mainly researches the molecular immune mechanisms of organ damage related to critical illness, investigating the role of DAPK1 in lung injury and exploring the application value of pro-resolution strategies for inflammation. During the fight against COVID-19, he was among the first globally to report the clinical characteristics and prognosis of critically ill COVID-19 patients, elucidated the risk factors for death, and formulated frontline expert consensus on the management of severe COVID-19. His papers have been published in prestigious journals such as Lancet Respir Med, National Science Review, Critical Care, and Anesthesiology. He has received over 10 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology Key Research and Development Program. He was selected for the Ministry of Education's Changjiang Scholars Program (Young Scholar).
