Main Research Interests

Research, development, and application of immunotherapy technologies and products.


Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Life Sciences and Medicine, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Currently serves as the Executive Deputy Director of the Department of Biomedical at USTC, Director of the Anhui Provincial Biotechnology Research Center for Biomedical, Vice Chairman of the Immunotherapy Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and Executive Director of the Antibody Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Biotechnology. 


From 1985 to 1995, Assistant Researcher in Applied Molecular Biology at the Changchun Institute of Biological Products. From 1995 to 1998, Postdoctoral  Cancer Research Center, University of Maryland. From 1998 to 2004, Scientist at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, USA. Returned to China at the end of 2004 as Professor at the School of Life Sciences, USTC, and Head of the Signal Transduction and Gene Regulation Laboratory.


Has led 7 National Natural Science Foundation projects; served as leader and key member of 3 National 973 Program projects; Principal Investigator and key member of major national new drug development projects; led over 10 major and key provincial and ministerial projects. Published over 50 research papers indexed by SCI; applied for more than 20 patents.
