Xiaochu Zhang joined the faculty at USTC and was invited to be the professor in life science school and the PI of the cognitive neuropsychology lab in 2010. His current focus is the neural basis of drug and behavior addiction and some related cognitive processes (decision making, social, emotion, etc) and using tES and neurofeedback to treat addiction and related mental disorders. He is now the academic editor of Frontier in Psychiatry and the guest academic editor Frontier in Human Neuroscience and the vice-chairman of Neuromanagement and Neuroengineering Society, Anhui Social Psychological Society, and Anhui Drug Rehabilitation Society. 

Research Interests: Addiction, Decision making, Love, Neurofeedback & tES for treatment Approaches: fMRI, MRI, EEG, tES and behavior measurements.
